Our Oakridge Hunter's Vest pattern will help you create a customizable hunting vest with multiple zippered pockets, an elastic shell holder, and quilted shoulder pads for comfort. On the back of the vest, is a zippered waterproof pouch and and easy-access mesh pocket for game or gear.
Suggested Fabrics:
Outer Fabric - Lightweight waterproof, waterproof breathable, or water-repellent fabric.
Insulated Lining - Pre-quilted fabric; or nylon taffeta plus insulation (same yardage of each) or polar fleece.
Waterproof Fabric - Lightweight waterproof fabric
Mesh Fabric (optional) - Leno lock mesh
Notions:
Polyester thread, 1-1/8 yd (1m) 1 (2.5cm) nylon tape (optional), two 7 pocket zippers, one 16 (40.6cm) separating zipper, one pair zipper top stops, 1-1/2 yd (1.4m) #5 coil zipper, three #5 coil zipper pulls, 1/3 yd (.3m) 1 (2.5cm) grip elastic, and 1/8 yd (.12m) 3/4 (1.9cm) velcro.
