The sweater sewing pattern The Sally Sweater can be sewn with both an overlocker and a sewing machine and is suitable for beginners and advanced sewers. You can sew your own sweatshirt with these simple sewing instructions. If you like, you can tie dye your sweatshirt. You can find out all about the tie dye technique in the Sally Sweater sewing tutorial. This makes your sweater truly unique. The sweatshirt pattern has long balloon sleeves with cuffs, a collar and a slightly flared hem.

medium-weight stretch sweatshirt fabric, e.g. French Terry with a fabric width of at least 140cm (1.5yd): XS-XXXL: 135cm (1.5yd)
matching the fabric with a fabric width of at least 50cm (0.5yd): XS-XXXL: 30cm (0.55yd)
matching sewing thread
dye and rubber bands for batik, if necessary
sewing machine with needle
Tip: We use a GOTS certified organic French Terry fabric made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane with a weight of 250g/qm for the sweater pattern Sally.
Size chart
Find the perfect size for you simply by using our size chart. Measure your chest, waist and hip circumference and check the chart to see which size most closely matches your own measurements. With the sweater pay attention especially to the chest circumference. It is widely cut and stretchy, so not every millimeter matters here :-)
