Get more comfortable and confident in your sewing skills while you make a practical and unique shopping tote. In this single session workshop, sewing machine set-up will be reviewed to get you back in the groove.
We will cut and assemble our shopping tote, cleanly constructed using French seams with matching fabric handles. This beautifully made bag is unlined and lightweight- the perfect compact companion for taking along while you shop.
This workshop is a great follow-up for those who have taken Sewing Machine Basics. Tote measures approximately 13 x 15” with 14” long handles.
To make this project, please bring with you or purchase in store:
- 0.5m quilting cotton
- Fabric scissors
- Straight pins (and a small box or tin for pin storage)
- Pencil
