Practice your sewing skills with this simple beginner garment project. A perfect first project for those who want to take the next step in their sewing journey.
You only need 1-1.5m of fabric and some bias tape to make your first garment. Learn the technique for bias trimmed necklines and how to use sewing tools to create a nice hem and all sorts of options to "hack" a pattern to create an entirely new look.
Recommended Fabrics:
Works best with mid and light weight woven fabrics. Linen, linen rayon blends, light cotton are ideal, and we also recommend using thrifted linens for beginner projects.
Fabric Requirments:
1-1.5m of 56" wide fabric. Please purchase in advance and bring pre-washed.
