Choose your own t-shirt adventure!
Learn how to sew with knits (aka stretchy!) fabrics in our two-session Classic Knit T-Shirt workshop! In this workshop we cover all the dos-and-don'ts when it comes to sewing with knits, as well as tips on cutting, sewing, and hemming on a domestic machine. By the end of our two session workshop, participants will leave with a cleanly finished t-shirt and confidence to tackle future knit garments!
Beginner garment class. Students are required to independently thread their machines and sew consistent seam allowances.

Supplies required: 1.5-2.5m medium weight knit fabric like cotton jersey, matching thread
Patterns:
The Jackson Tee (Helen's Closet), for a classic fit
Experience Level: Adventurous Beginner, basic knowledge of the sewing machine required.
Age appropriate: Teens and Adults 16+
