The Mesa Top

The Mesa Top is a relaxed sleeveless top with an adjustable side drawstring that creates soft gathers and an asymmetrical silhouette. The pattern features a high front and back neckline, with straps designed to conceal bra straps. Simple and quick to sew, the Mesa Top requires very little fabric and makes a perfect beginner project! Easy to wear and style, it's a basic with a twist that will earn a spot in your memade rotation!

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS:
The Mesa top is designed to work with light to medium weight woven fabrics like cotton (lawn, voile, poplin, crinkle cotton, shirting), linen (washed linen, linen noil) rayon and viscose (crepe, voile, poplin, twill, challis) and tencel twill. Fabrics like cotton will give more structure and volume and fabrics like rayon will have more drape and fluidity.
Skill Level: Level 3 - Beginner Garment, must have taken GARMENT SEWING 101 or have some experience sewing from a pattern. This level builds confidence reading a pattern, introduces common garment construction techniques and practices, sewing with stable knits or wovens.
