The Sisko sewing pattern includes two variations: An elastic waist dress, and a crop top. Sisko has a unique layered and interlaced wrap bodice with ties. Both variations are sleeveless and have a scoop neck and a keyhole detail at the front. The dress features a midi-length skirt, gathered with an elastic at the waist. Both variations are maternity and nursing friendly.

MATERIALS & SUPPLIES

Dress

  • Fusible knit interfacing for the elastic casing, 10 cm (4”)

  • (Fusible knit interfacing for the ties, 105 cm (1 1/8 yd))

  • 2 cm (3/4”) elastic, your waist circumference

Top

  • (Fusible knit interfacing for the ties, 105 cm (1 1/8 yd))

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS

Pick a light to medium weight knit fabric with 40 - 50% stretch. You can choose a drapey fabric, such as a viscose jersey, or a low drape one, like an interlock knit. If your fabric is light, interface the ties with a knit interfacing.
