A fun skill building class for Adventurous Beginners with Ariane Clark
DATES: Wednesday January 21st & 28th
Time: (6-8:30pm x two days, 5 hours)
The Adelphi Top is a unique and interesting sewing pattern featuring a high boatneck, bust pleats, basque waist and corset style lace closure in the back for a snatched waist without boning. You WILL get compliments, and you WILL get asked "where did you get that?"
Skill level: This is an Intermediate level pattern, but could be taken on by an advanced beginner as a skill building project, perfect your topstitching skills and one day you'll be making jeans!
The pattern is offered in size 00-42 (Bust 29”- 64”, Waist 23”-58”). The Adelphi Top Pattern was designed for a B cup, but includes detailed illustrated instructions for a full bust adjustment. If doing a full bust adjustment (FBA) you *may have some top-stitching homework between classes. :)
Fabric requirements: 1-2m of a medium-heavy woven fabric, for example a 7oz - 8oz denim or canvas the heavier the more structure, however the harder to make the loops out of the self fabric and you may want to use the bias tape for the loops.
