Welcome to our Kids Sewing Club Fall 2025 Term PART 2
Sewing club is on a pre-registered, stand-alone class basis, meaning you can sign up for all sessions or just the ones that fit your schedule and your child's interests. Please note that both the November 8th & 15th AND the December 13th & 20th classes are a 2-part class to work on a more complex projects that take more time. If you are only unable to sign up for one class, you will have to work on it at home :)
Students will be introduced to the sewing machine and how it works, and in each class we will go over threading the machine and bobbin as a refresher or if they are new. We will be making a ambitious beginner project each week that will teach students how to cut fabric, use the machine, maintain proper seam allowance and tension, finishing edges using zigzag stitches or pinking shears, and using clips or pins to secure fabric.
All materials are provided!
Skill Level: Beginner Kids Age 7-13
