Welcome to our Kids Sewing Club Spring Term!
Sewing club is on a pre-registered, stand-alone class basis, meaning you can sign up for all sessions or just the ones that fit your schedule and your child's interests. Please note that the April 12th & 19th classes are a 2-part class to make a pair of shorts (if you can only make it to one of the classes, students will have to complete the project at home or can book time to come back)
Students will be introduced to the sewing machine and how it works, and in each class we will go over threading the machine and bobbin as a refresher or if they are new. We will be making a ambitious beginner projects each week that will teach students how to cut fabric, use the machine, maintain proper seam allowance and tension, finishing edges using zigzag stitches or pinking shears, and using clips or pins to secure fabric.

Skill Level: Beginner Kids Age 7-13
