Multi-Sized Pattern for Adults & Kids: Small, Medium, Large Size Chart

These fleece circle caps will keep your head warm and toasty. Make sizes for kids and adults with this pattern -- a double cap (for extra warmth), a contrast cap (with a band of contrasting fabric) and a braid cap (with a circle to keep the hat snugly on your head). Sew an optional applique, included in the pattern, to decorate your cap.
Suggested Fabrics:
Cap: Fleece fabric such as PolarTec 200, 300, or Windblock.
Applique: Any light fleece or woven fabric (especially coated nylon).
Note: Cap fabric must have crosswise stretch for proper sizing.
Notions:
All Caps: polyester thread
Braid Cap: 3/8 yd (.34m) 5/16 (.7cm) flat cord or lacing, 2/3 yd (.61m) 1 braid or grosgrain ribbon.
