Learn to sew an elastic gathered tank top made from strips of fabric! A great scrap busting project. Mix and match colours and prints of fabric to get the desired look. Every piece needed to create this tank is a rectangle, making cutting and sewing simple straight lines. This tank is fitted in the chest with elastic and flares out under the bust. There are two options for strap style; adjustable tie straps with bows or straight straps. The length of the tank top is slightly cropped, however this pattern can very easily be adjusted to increase the length or even turn it into a dress.
The skill level for this sewing project is Novice/ Intermediate. With these detailed step by step instructions and illustrations any skill level should be able to make this Tank Top with ease.
