Welcome to our Kids Sewing Club! (Grown-ups welcome to hang out)
Sewing club is on a pre-registered, stand-alone class basis, meaning you can sign up for all sessions or just the ones that fit your schedule and your child's interests.
Students will be introduced to the sewing machine and how it works, and in each class we will go over threading the machine and bobbin as a refresher or if they are new. We will be making a small beginner friendly sewing project each week that will teach students how to cut fabric, use the machine, maintaining proper seam allowance and tension, finishing edges using zigzag stitches or pinking shears, and using clips to secure fabric.
All materials are provided
Skill Level: Beginner Kids Age 6.5 - 11.5
