Re-useable Holiday Gift Bags
Beginner Sewing Workshop

Learn to create beautiful, reusable fabric gift bags just in time for the holidays! In this festive, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to sew high-quality drawstring gift bags using gorgeous fabrics, simple construction techniques, and professional finishing touches.
Perfect for holiday gifting, sustainable wrapping, or adding a handmade touch under the tree. These bags can be reused year after year, making them as thoughtful as the gifts inside.
Supplies used in this class:
- 1/2m of main fabric, 1/2m of lining fabric, both in a medium weight quilting cotton or similar woven fabric. (18-20" x 44")
- 3m piece of grosgrain ribbon, twill tape or cotton rope, we will have some available but you are welcome to bring your own to match your fabric,
- Neutral thread for sewing machine
(we will have 2 fabrics available that are included for use in this class. One is a lovely red and white Merry Christmas print as seen in the pictures below, the other is a cute Santa and reindeer print on a white background. You are welcome to bring your own fabrics or purchase from our other available holiday prints, $10 approx cost)
Supplies to bring, or borrow: Standard Sewing kit, with pins, scissors, snips, seam ripper etc.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner, must know how to thread and operate a machine
